                        TARQUIN RESOURCES PLC
               ("Tarquin Resources" or the "Company")

                  Results of Annual General Meeting

The Board  of Tarquin  Resources plc  (AIM: TQN)  announces that  all
resolutions put  to shareholders  at today's  annual general  meeting
("AGM") were passed.

Included at the AGM was a  resolution to cancel the admission of  the
Company's ordinary shares on AIM.

The Board advises  that the  cancellation of  the Company's  ordinary
shares on AIM will take effect at 7 a.m on Monday, 15 September 2008.
