Mark Cheshire appointed Interim Group CEO
Further to the announcement of 20 December 2010, the Directors of Syndicate
Asset Management Plc (AIM: SAM), the fund management group with approximately
GBP6.5 billion under management, are pleased to announce the promotion of Mark
Cheshire to Interim Group CEO of Syndicate Asset Management with immediate
effect. Mark Cheshire was appointed to the Board as an executive Director
responsible for Group Sales and Business Development in November 2010.
Peter Dew, Non-Executive Chairman of Syndicate, commented:
"Mark has played a pivotal role in streamlining Ashcourt Rowan's operations and
driving significant growth within that business division in terms of enhanced
revenues, profitability and funds under management. We believe his focus on
revenues and efficient operations will allow the Group to move rapidly forward
in the next phase of its development - our focus being on significant growth in
terms of revenue and profitability."
