SWP Group plc ("SWP" or "the Company") announces that it has raised #750,000
(net of expenses) through a placing of 1,250,000 new ordinary shares of 0.5p
each ("New Shares") at a price of 60p per New Share.

These funds will be used by SWP for the retirement of debt as well as the
provision of additional working capital to facilitate a period of rapid sales
expansion.

The New Shares will rank pari passu with all other ordinary shares now in issue.
Application for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM have been made
and dealings are expected to commence on AIM at 08:00 a.m. on 6 March 2006.

The New Shares are equivalent to approximately 7.9 per cent of the Company's
existing issued share capital. Following admission the enlarged issued share
capital of the Company will be 17,019,546 ordinary shares of 0.5p each.
