01/5/2013 09:34 | HHR moved to AIM - will it be delisting too? The company clearly states that if funding is unsuccessful then admin will happen - but seems like some major current shareholders are willing to buy placing shares at 2p. So delisting could happen but is not a cert. (it will be if company doesn't recover!) | knigel
01/5/2013 09:32 | inbasket 1 May'13 - 08:56 - 867 of 869 "The interesting thing here will be who takes what in the deal. The good news is that they aren't going to de-list yet." This stock will most certainly delist. The so called move to the AIM is just a smoke screen. Wait for the announcement to tell you there has been a hic up and administration will now follow. There is absolutely no logical or financial reason why they would want to move to the AIM incurring listing costs other than to shut up small PIs until the coup d'état. | pwhite73
01/5/2013 09:32 | 20% actually. Still think it may move back to 3-4p over next few days. Sent email to company will update thread if they bother to reply | knigel
01/5/2013 09:31 | Placing price 2p ???????? Miles above NIGEL | risk1
01/5/2013 09:23 | Decided to buy some at 2.4p which isn't much above the placing price anyway.. expect I will need to tuck these away for a while but great potential 2-3 years out gla | knigel
01/5/2013 09:10 | A placing can be open to all shareholders! | knigel
01/5/2013 08:56 | Don't waste your breath (or pixels) complaining about not being included. A company this size cannot afford a rights issue. It's as simple as that. It was always going to be a placing. The interesting thing here will be who takes what in the deal. The good news is that they aren't going to de-list yet. I haven't worked out what the deal means yet but I'm not doing anything. Can't understand why anyone would sell. It's always been priced as an option, what were people expecting ? | kinbasket
01/5/2013 08:56 | Just got a quote for 2.25p so not far away from the placing price. | loverat
01/5/2013 08:53 | Don't be so sure. JSJS had a 0.30p placing recently and it is now under this price. However really tempted to buy if it falls any further today gla | knigel
01/5/2013 08:37 | It's not a great deal for small existing shareholders - it could take some time for them to get their money back. Indeed it is outrageous to only allow selected existing shareholders to buy placing shares at 2p while not allowing all existing shareholders the chance to buy. I will be emailing the company to complain (has the shares now gone ex-entitlement?) and ask others to do so too. | knigel
01/5/2013 08:20 | I too think it is a good deal. Pity that existing small shareholders can not participate. Wonder what the Irish shareholders will do here and if they have been advising behind the scenes. Hope price drops to around 2p in which case I will dip in again | parvez
01/5/2013 08:14 | The placing is a done deal. No chance of participation for small holders. At the end of the day this is a great deal imo, and the future is very bright indeed. Took a minute loss a few months back out of boredom, but will be back in when the dust settles. | the_beagle
01/5/2013 08:03 | will the placing be open to ALL the existing shareholders or only the large ones? | parvez
01/5/2013 07:57 | Looks like this could have a bit of a drop today. The company did warn about this a couple of months ago. | simonparker5
01/5/2013 07:57 | Market wont like this fund-raising, but they had no choice, so I can see these dropping 40% today. | lpavlou
29/4/2013 08:09 | Yes, 'strongly cash generative' sounds good. Just a question of dealing with the debt | qut
28/4/2013 21:41 | The first phase of Project Phoenix remains on track to be completed in April 2013. The Board has reassessed the aggregate deliverable cost savings arising from Phoenix and other related initiatives and has confirmed previous estimates of a reduction in the Company's annual operating cost base of £5.0 million. The first full year of savings is expected in 2013/14. Once these cost savings are factored in, the Board's assessment is that Superglass can be strongly cash generative at the operating level in the future, even at current depressed market volumes and prices. | snatander
28/4/2013 21:30 | Yes, kinbasket, that was a slightly surprising announcement on 6th March. Sounded like the management wanted to depress the share price for some reason. You don't normally announce a fundraising in advance thus decimating the share price and making it more difficult to raise money, lol! | qut
28/4/2013 10:58 | The only rumours being spread about fundraising are from the management in the last trading update (6th March) Make of that what you will. | kinbasket
26/4/2013 23:07 | not heard that. im hoping the irish boys bid 14p in the next few days | snatander
26/4/2013 22:36 | Anyone heard any rumours on the fundraising ? I fear that any dilution will virtually wipeout the shareholders | lpavlou
19/4/2013 09:57 | The rise today may flush out a "bid talks " announcement today. Fingers xxd | snatander
19/4/2013 09:52 | share price has been steadily rising prior to today's more significant rise. Wish I had something useful to add to the debate. clearly one angle is speculative takeover interest. But i can't stop thinking there is some fundamental value here notwithstanding the debt position. | meijiman |
