15/2/2022 07:42 | What goes around comes around, I'd imagine to be that bitter to others he has lost big here himself, or somewhere else... GLA | currencytrader1
14/2/2022 23:47 | Pathetic poster on here rubbing losses into people's faces. Shameful. Chin up for those that got this one wrong. Happens to the best of us sometimes. Better luck on your next\other investments. | simmsc
14/2/2022 23:40 | No position here but wow what a quick demise, truly feel for any holders. That said, although shareholders will no doubt get shafted to some extent if an administrator cannot turn around a company that is making c.£25m a year profit and has net assets excluding intangibles of over £70m that needs to plug ‘just’ a £25m short term hole then something is seriously wrong. | paulof2
14/2/2022 22:41 | Next step is delisting of shares, worthless now lol, you lot have lost everything. Make sure you take time for due diligence next time instead of reading chat boards pmsl | mrblueface

14/2/2022 22:32 | Studio reminds me of the kleaneasy and betterware brochures dumped on our door steps in the 90s ! Absolute trash who the hell bought shares in this lol | mrblueface
14/2/2022 22:30 | Bet the board of directors have gold taps etc at home, bet they have a very lavish lifestyle thanks to the mugs private investors who did not do the correct due diligence lol | mrblueface
14/2/2022 22:27 | This is nothing short of a catastrophic failure overseen by eight individuals who were paid significant remuneration to protect shareholder funds. In ten short months this board of directors have shamefully managed this business into administration. Charges of deception should follow their shocking dereliction of duty. I call upon the appropriate authority to take the necessary action against these people who were entrusted with our money. | skindle
14/2/2022 22:27 | Mike may give you amateurs 1p a share if you grab your ankles | mrblueface
14/2/2022 22:26 | You lot took the bait and got hooked on false hope lol | mrblueface
14/2/2022 21:37 | apfindley, I did look at these a while back but it looked like things weren't improving sufficiently enough for me to consider it.. It was just another business which benefited from covid restrictions/lockdow The business model didn't appeal to me. The sharp falls in Nov and Jan backed up my opinion... The writing has been on the wall for a while. Also I think there's more to this than meets the eye.. | sikhthetech
14/2/2022 21:08 | You also had some pretty sharp investors involved like Ennismore. That and Mike Ashley buying more shares recently, and you can forgive yourself having been duped. | mr5k
14/2/2022 21:04 | Sadly, this is all too common. I lost my shirt in a similar sub prime financial business called HomeBuy. In that situation there was even a new NED who spent £500k on shares weeks before suddenly filing for administration. It seems here that they had loads of stock delivered late (probably clothing!) and v difficult to sell and they would have been relying on this to generate cash to pay for more stock. I suspect there maybe more going on here (poor accounting!?) but we are likely to never find out. There are also similarities with Woolworths, also went up in a puff. Management said said net debt was low (which it was at the time of reporting) but the interest rate charge implied much higher levels. In this case there's an interest charge of £4.5m, which imply debt of £100m+ and not the core £20m the company claim. Sorry for all of you who have lost here. It's never nice. If there are any lessons, avoid alternative financials. They tend to grow quickly and then go up in smoke! And always check the interest charge against the declared net debt. | mr5k
14/2/2022 18:21 | Shareholders will be offered 1p per share pmsl | mrblueface
14/2/2022 17:40 | Mike Ashley to pounce on Studio Retail with cut-price deal? | zho
14/2/2022 17:38 | Best news to come from this is that Ashley also loses out lol, hate that bloke nothing sporty about him. Lots of holders will have a sleepless night tonight, not good on Valentine's Day as the missies will want a special portion but you wont perform as all that will be on your mind is how stupid you are losing all your money on this diseased dog | mrblueface
14/2/2022 17:35 | City boys knew this would happen last month, anyone who bought recently has just flushed the money down the pan lol. Everyone will lose all their money opps | mrblueface
14/2/2022 17:30 | You lot are screwed lol | mrblueface |
