Not for Eletheni it's not its a busted flush. Once they get rid of Shore, Greyling, Aranson and Ivory Mint it might stand a chance. My guess is that the government will cancel the license and give it to a BEG.

Hi All ( those of you that are left!)

FYI, I sent a text message to Michael Shore asking him to either call me or issue an update so we have some idea of what is going on! It's not a lot, but he responded within 10 minutes with the following:

'The board are planning on issuing a statement before the end of the year giving an update'.

Lets hope its as exciting as the August RNS suggested...and that it does actually happen!

Sub - Yes, Looks like at this stage they are only looking to recruit 'experts' to help with the eventual tender for IPP procurement -- could be sometime yet. But at least something is moving. :-)

"The tender, which closes at 12:00 on January 20, 2015, is for “Transaction Advisors, Programme Management, Project Managers/Officers and Specialist Advisors”. Successful bidders will be included in a panel at the DBSA for the purposes of advising on IPP procurement."

Growbag.... that was back when Ms Peters was in charge..... It is part of IRP (the old one.. don't know when they will come up with a new one)

They haven't actually given it to individual companies yet..... in fact they keep repeating what they have done in the past like with this announcement.

I think it will be a very long time before a decision will be made (if ever). Still have to ask for tenders from the IPPs.
