            Placing of new shares in connection with an Acquisition


Further to the announcement dated 23 November, Straight plc ('Straight'), the
AIM listed supplier of recycling containers and environmental products,
announces that it has conditionally placed 3,846,154 shares at 130p to raise
#5,000,000 to fund, in part, the consideration for the proposed acquisition. It
is expected that further details on the proposed acquisition will be announced
shortly.
