                          Straight plc ("the Company")



Further to the announcement regarding the results of the EGM on 17 January 2005,
the Company announces that all conditions precedent to completion of the
Acquisition Agreement are expected to be satisfied by the vendors of Blackwall
on 18 January 2005 and consequently admission to AIM of the 3,846,154 Ordinary
shares in connection with the Placing and the 576,923 Ordinary shares to be
allotted to the vendors of Blackwall is expected to occur on 19 January 2005.
