Straight plc announces that 158,750 new ordinary shares of 1p each ("New
Ordinary Shares") have been issued following the exercise of options held by
directors and staff in connection with its EMI and Executive Share Option
Schemes.

Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari
passu with the existing shares in issue, to be admitted to trading on AIM, and
it is expected that trading will commence on 15 November 2006.

Details relating to the above exercise of options and the associated subsequent
sale of some of the shares acquired by directors are given below:
