20/11/2006 14:13 | don't disagree gelp - a further rise toward 50p and a positive update of some kind, who knows we could at last have something really exciting to talk about. fingers crossed. | its the oxman
15/11/2006 19:08 | break through 45p could signal the end of the downtrend - would be nice | its the oxman
15/11/2006 14:01 | big jump - now 39p mid ??? | its the oxman
03/11/2006 08:57 | The new option just granted are at 32.5p in liew of bonus's. On the surface that is encouraging - but the previous options were at 65P - and before that at 95p. Talking about moving the goalposts! Well timed to get lowest 'midmarket price' ever! Would like to say the only way is up but...... | gelp
03/10/2006 23:06 | not a cheap system - lets hope its worth it | its the oxman
28/9/2006 17:36 | There have been a couple of small sells and simply nothing the other way.So little interest it is almost untrue given the large number of individual franchisees who surely must take some interest in the business. As a simple entrepreneur (been on the market as well) I can see it would be quite easy to hive off the lossmakers and make profits from the core operation. I have also had experience of overseas expansion and know the pitfalls. The business model is great and the ambition undoubted but I suspect that the costs of full listing and the frustrations overseas need facing up. Having said that I like the style of the operators and personally will stick it out as I believe they know what they are doing and will both turn the results around AND grow the business. They have resisted the short term fix & stuck to long term goals. First good results and a few buys should make a lot of difference. The options are at 65 remember. THe new advisers have not been brought on board for nothing! I am not always right. | gelp
27/9/2006 15:37 | gutted to see this 33p bid now. will we ever break out of this downtrend? | its the oxman
14/9/2006 08:15 | agree with move to aim on cost basis and frustrating overseas ops are still such a drain (maybe they are trying to do too much here) - believe the time will come for this to double and more but meantime the market is just not interested it seems. | its the oxman
14/9/2006 08:09 | still talking to myself - what is the point of staying main listing when aim would be so much cheaper for small cap company - switch to aim would probably save 1 - 200 k indirectly and directly - little downside as far as i can see. | gelp
14/9/2006 07:57 | ummm. So Smith and Williamson corporate finance were appointed 28th august. I did not see announcement flag up. Looking at their site specialise in m/a.I see they have taken companies from main list to aim on occaison. Any other news on trading or just any news?!? | gelp
17/8/2006 08:38 | results today - core uk business is + £1000k AFTER apportioning overheads this time. I like the report. OK jam tomorrow - but the jam is definitely there. Growth, and cost reductions, plus prudent non cash write downs. Read report. | gelp
15/8/2006 14:47 | hanging on to my small holding - would like to see some director buying and positive newsflow on this one - very quiet - ho um. | its the oxman
18/4/2006 08:35 | spread down to 12.5% - some kind of record! is no news good news? Boxwellian - do you have any more information on agency prospects...? | gelp
08/3/2006 09:38 | encouraged by the lack of any further nasty surprises in results and steadying of share price will be very tempted to add on weakness - just that big spread and lack of any div now that annoys me. | its the oxman
23/2/2006 08:52 | The core UK Stagecoach business, which accounts for 92 per cent of the network turnover, reported divisional profit, before allocation of general overheads, of #782,000 for the six-month period. A Profit "Before allocation of general overheads"sounds rather too close to a loss. Rumours of defections at Agency persist... | boxwellian2
06/2/2006 09:31 | not sure I will wait for any weakness!ticking up! | gelp
01/2/2006 20:50 | Hats off to this team for pressing ahead on all fronts and with remarkable organsiational skills worldwide, ambition and financial nouse. I have no need to repeat the content of the report. It would be very simple to stop the expansion and show £1million profits. It is a shame that the costs of the new market entrance hits the bottom line £ for £. I remain a real fan of this team. They have such heavy personal stakes in the business financially and emotionally that its only a matter of time that the balance between visible profits and expenditure adjusts. As an aside I wonder if there are any other groupings sports, educational operations that could be consolidated and would benefit from the know how locally and abroad. I shall try and pick up shares if any weakness shows. | gelp
24/1/2006 14:39 | There have been no recent profits warning (as there has before). We await the results on 27th with interest! | gelp
24/1/2006 11:43 | results on 27th Jan so guess someone is trying to get out before more bad news possibly - that said - shares will hopefuly bounce now since there must be a lot of negative news now factored in with the latest fall. | its the oxman
24/1/2006 11:29 | can anyone explain whats going on here? - little volume - just no buyers I guess and drip drip - would hope management might say something re share price fall soon. | its the oxman
24/1/2006 11:16 | Surprise drop today. Any news anyone or is this related to the U.S. involvement? | ptgint
20/1/2006 13:20 | morale seems good in local operations in South Wales. I have just bought 2000 at 42.5 lets home they have got a handle on the odd loss makers. I dont know what proportion of business is agency - i would not have thought it very high in overall scheme of things. | gelp |
