In conformity with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority's 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company notifies the market of the 
following: 
 
As at 31 December 2011 the Company's issued share capital consists of 
27,788,592 Ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights and 5,937,927 
Subscription shares of 1p each without voting rights. 
 
The above figure of 27,788,592 may be used by shareholders as the denominator 
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to 
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, S R Europe 
Investment Trust PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
