                              SPG MEDIA GROUP PLC

                          AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR



Stephen Davidson, an executive with more than 25 years in banking, media and
telecommunications, is to join the board of SPG Media Group Plc as a
non-executive director with effect from 15 March 2004.



Stephen was most recently vice-chairman of investment banking and global head of
technology, media and telecommunications at WestLB Panmure. He is also a former
chief executive of Telewest Communications Plc and treasurer of US entertainment
group Lorimar Telepictures Inc.



Stephen is a director of The Wireless Group Plc and was a director of ENIC Plc
until 31 March 2003 when he resigned on the takeover of the company by Kondar
Limited.



No details are required to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the
listing rules.



SPG Media Group Plc is a business-to-business media group with international
interests in print publications, Internet reference portals, business
conferences and events.  The business is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
