SPG Media Group plc announces that it was yesterday informed that Ms Simone
Kesseler, Group Chief Executive, purchased 25,000 shares in the Company at a
price of 12.25p per share on 2 March 2004.  Ms Kesseler is now interested in
278,466 shares in the Company.


The Company also announces that it was yesterday informed that Mr Steve
Nicholson, Chairman, purchased 150,000 shares in the Company at 12.25p per share
on the same date.  Mr Nicholson is now interested in 462,500 shares in the
Company.


In addition, the Company announces that Mr Stephen Davidson, who will be joining
the board as a non-executive director on 15 March 2004, has today purchased
150,000 shares in the Company at 12.25p per share.  Mr Davidson is now
interested in 150,000 shares in the Company.
