Spacelabs Healthcare Announces Board and Management Appointments

HAWTHORNE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/06/07 -- Spacelabs Healthcare,
Inc. (LSE: SLAB) today announced the appointment of Mr. Joseph Davin,
Group President North American Operations, and Mr. Nicholas Ong,
Group President Emerging Market Operations, to the Board of
Directors.

Spacelabs also announces that Mr. Nikhil Mehta has submitted his
resignation as a Director and as Chief Financial Officer, effective
January 21, 2008, at which time he intends to pursue other
professional opportunities. In addition, Mr. Dave Tilley has also
submitted his resignation as a Director. Mr. Tilley will continue to
serve as the company's Chief Operating Officer primarily
concentrating on the opening of the Company's new manufacturing
facility in China.

Deepak Chopra, Spacelabs Healthcare's CEO, stated, "We would like to

their extensive industry experience and the critical roles that they

Mr. Davin, age 52, Group President North American Operations, is
currently responsible for sales, marketing and customer support teams
for the U.S. and Canadian channels. Additionally, he is in charge of
the product development and global marketing for the Patient
Monitoring and Connectivity product group. He has been with Spacelabs
Healthcare for 15 years prior to which he served as the General
Manager for the Critical and Emergency Care division of Datex-Ohmeda.
He has over 25 years experience in the medical equipment industry.
Mr. Davin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bates
College.

Mr. Ong, age 42, Group President Emerging Market Operations, is
currently responsible for the sales, marketing, service, product
development and customer support teams for the Asia/Pacific, India
and Latin America channels. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Ong was
responsible for the Anesthesia Delivery & Ventilation product group
and Spacelabs Medical strategic marketing and business development.
He previously served as President for Asia Pacific for Datex-Ohmeda
and has 19 years of experience in the diagnostics and medical
equipment industry. Mr. Ong holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Henley
Management College.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced with
regard to these appointments under paragraph (g) of schedule 2 of the
AIM rules.
