Southern Housing receives Interim Regulatory Judgement of G2/V2
The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has assigned a G2/V2 interim judgement to Southern Housing (registered number 5171). This judgement is deemed compliant with regulatory standards.
Southern Housing was created in December 2022 by the amalgamation of Optivo (registered number 4851) which previously had a G1/V1 judgement and Southern Housing Group Limited (registered number L4628) which had a G2/V2 judgement.
RSH considers interim regulatory judgements for newly merged organisations on a case-by-case basis with a starting assumption that the lower of the two previous ratings will apply. Interim grades will be converted to standard grades either when RSH have completed the first Stability Check following merger or a full In-Depth Assessment, which we expect within 18 months.
