Soccercity plc ("the Company") announces that it has raised #85,000 (before
expenses) by way of a placing of 8,500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each ("
Ordinary Shares") at 1p per share ("the Placing").  The proceeds of the Placing
will be used by the Company to provide additional working capital.

In addition, the Company proposes to issue 2,937,500 Ordinary Shares to WH
Ireland Limited ("WH Ireland"), the Company's nominated adviser and broker, in
lieu of fees of #29,375.

Application has been made for 11,437,500 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 16 November 2006.  The
new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in
issue and bring the number of Ordinary Shares in issue following the Placing to
97,786,080.

Following the Placing, Richard John Ratcliffe Keeling will be interested in
22,356,444 Ordinary Shares, representing 22.86 per cent. of the enlarged issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.  WH Ireland Group plc and its
subsidiaries will be interested in 7,560,000 Ordinary Shares, representing  7.73
per cent of the enlarged issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
