APPOINTMENT OF DMG & PARTNERS SECURITIES PTE LTD AS

INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER

   1.         INTRODUCTION 

The Board of Directors (the "Directors") of Skywest Airlines Ltd. (the "Company") refers to the joint announcement made by the boards of directors of the Company and Virgin Australia Holdings Limited ("Virgin Australia") on 6 December 2012 (the "Joint Announcement") in relation to Virgin Australia's proposal to acquire 100% of the issued ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Skywest Shares"), by way of a scheme of arrangement under Section 210 of the Companies Act (Chapter 50 of Singapore) and in accordance with the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers (the "Scheme").

Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement (this "Announcement") shall have the same meanings as defined in the Joint Announcement.

   2.         APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER 

The Directors wish to announce that DMG & Partners Securities Pte Ltd (the "IFA") has been appointed as the independent financial adviser to advise the Directors on the Scheme for the purpose of making a recommendation to the shareholders of the Company ("Shareholders") in connection with the Scheme.

Full details of the Scheme (including the recommendation of the Directors along with the advice of the IFA) will be contained in the scheme document to be despatched to the Shareholders in due course.

In the meantime, Shareholders are advised to refrain from taking any action in relation to their Skywest Shares which may be prejudicial to their interests and to exercise caution when dealing in their Skywest Shares until they or their advisers have considered the information and the recommendations of the Directors, as well as the advice of the IFA to be set out in the scheme document.
