UK-Wide Contract Wins for Sky High

Sky High Regional Offices have secured a raft of major contracts in the first
half of 2009. Under a five year contract with a five year optional extension
covering all three authorities Sky High Head Office will be delivering automatic
traffic counter survey services to the Greater Manchester Transportation Unit
(serving all 10 district councils in Greater Manchester), Derbyshire County
Council and Derby City Council. Work has already started on a series of 300
temporary speed surveys at safety camera sites in Greater Manchester.
After winning three contracts with Transport for London ("TfL") the London
office of Sky High is providing Manual Surveys and Origin-Destination Video
Surveys to TfL in addition to the Bus Fare Evasion surveys already being
undertaken for London Buses. The Sky High Data Capture Division based in Halifax
will be undertaking all survey form inputting for TfL under the third of the
3-year contracts.
The new Wales and West Sky High Office in Cardiff has won the contract with the
Wales Casualty Reduction Partnership to undertake around 300 temporary speed
surveys at safety camera sites throughout South Wales. Work has already started
on these and will continue into 2010 with options to extend the contract for a
further 3 years.
Sky High Scotland and Ireland have recently won a one year contract to undertake
temporary speed surveys for Edinburgh City Council in addition to their existing
contract with Fife Constabulary.
