In the US shareholders only have to report quarterly and even then they are given 30 days grace.....eeza wise up, smell the coffee:-) the UK company regs are comparitively good and therefore attracting foreign investment.

Thankfully, the possibility of a "Dutch Auction" hasn't materialised. I will be pleased to get out of 20% of holdings, and will take a view thereafter.

So effectively if you bought now you would be buying at a 47% discount (to the remaining "illiquid" 56% as of Sep 2013).

I wonder if the price then is reasonable, assuming it perhaps takes another 4 years (2015) to liquidate the 56% then a return of approx 12% a year?

Maybe my calcs are wrong

The upcoming tender tending to underwrite the sp; but nevertheless I've decided to cut my losses and raise a little cash for other opportunities.

The liquidity expectations for the Company's investments have been reduced since the previously published estimate, with the percentage extending over more than one year (the "tail") increasing from 37 to 56%.

Surprised it's not down more to be honest.

I'm more concerned why the seller is selling. I met with ACD on Thursday, and they were a little cautious in SIGG.

So the MAM funds were the buyers - taking their stake from 3.975m to 5.675m (5.92%). Good news wouldn't you say Tilts?

Chart suggests this ship may finally be turning around...
