21/7/2006 13:42 | why does this share price move on such small buys? I am not complaining as i am a small holder. | gazwenn
27/6/2006 11:48 | I've just looked at this company. My back of envelope calcs tell me that based on a price of 4.5p and a normal tax charge of 30% the pe for 06 is 14, which imo is too dear for a company with acquisition led growth and little eps growth. | strudwick
27/6/2006 07:39 | Good results and all is obviously going well on sales. A little concearn over their website though. If you try and contact them to register for updates via email, you get the following reply: "I am sorry but I have now left SectorGuard. Please contact David Marks if it is a work related issue. Regards, Nigel Brown " You'd think they would update their details when people leave. | dubois
26/6/2006 08:16 | mcjj At the top of the results summary you will see either 6 months 'til March or YEAR 'til September. The £16 mill is the full years turnover, not just the 6 months from March until September. DE-RAMP? As if anybody would take notice of anything you say from now on. Hardly the worlds greatest expert are you? LOL | ucorksuckers
26/6/2006 08:07 | GOOD LUCK TO ALL.....I AM NOT TRYING TO DERAMP | mcjj

13/6/2006 06:51 | Taken from GFS trading statement; seems news is good for SIA registered officers: * G4S Security Services (UK) won a number of contracts as a result of the implementation of security officer licensing in the UK. Some medium-sized competitors are still to gain Approved Contractor Status. During the second half of the year, we expect the licensing authority (SIA) to begin to take action against companies employing unlicensed security officers. | los ricos
12/6/2006 12:03 | what will it take to make this share price move north? It all looks very good to me. | gazwenn
12/6/2006 07:20 | The Motley Fool Extract from TMF article. Very Secure Shares By David Kuo (TMFDragon) June 1, 2006 I used to think that our police had sole responsibility for maintaining law and order in Britain. But a growing platoon of private security guards are now almost as important at protecting private property as the boys and girls in blue. These security guards come in various flavours that include minders, bouncers, door supervisors, keyholders and vehicle immobilisers. In total there are over 500,000 people employed in the private security industry that is estimated to be worth around £4bn a year. Insurance company Zurich reckons that some of the UK's wealthiest people are spending up to £30,000 a year on private security measures that include intruder alarms linked to receiving centres. Sectorguard (LSE: SGD), which is valued at 10 times earnings is also relatively inexpensive. Earnings at the security company have more than trebled in four years, with profits expected to increase 70% in the next two years. | christh
08/6/2006 09:38 | cannot see the interims being bad the thing that has held it back is the constant issue of shares and therefore no real progress at EPS level but divi and profits up YOY hope for rise in interim divi this time and 5p+ before too long get in now not hope for it to fall else you never will | chapman123
07/6/2006 13:46 | Interims are 19Jun06 acc to their web site. | trader2
06/6/2006 17:42 | Was hoping for some cheap stock - esp. after that poor investor who took just 3.75p for 200k the other day. Most likely sold through a broker who accepted a 0.25p write-down for trading in "size". Some brokers still seem to value their relationship with the MMs more than that with their clients! Anyway, as yet no cheap offer @ 4.0p - but will wait a bit further before adding - perhaps the Interims will disappoint initially due to goodwill write-downs; but I expect the underlying to be highly positive. | skyship
05/6/2006 21:44 | No idea. But the price seems to move about a bit on this one... has the usual AIM end of day markdown by the look of it. | vernkel
05/6/2006 10:08 | anyone know the results date ?? last year it was 20th June | chapman123
18/5/2006 12:15 | Well Hi all. I'm on onboard now! | vernkel
10/5/2006 15:41 | needs some more exposure to get to that 7.5p next lot of results might just do it results due in around 5 weeks time also expect divi hike | chapman123 |
