07/3/2005 04:01 | SGD have been quietly eating up the minnows that come across its path and have built themselves into quite a force in the security field. This must be hurting some of their larger opposition and an aggressive takeover might be the solution in order that the big fish can maintain market share. Better a buy out now, whilst SGD appear relatively cheap, than in a year or two when it might be SGD buying them out. The IC article will set the alarm bells ringing with Securicor etc. that SGD might not be this cheap for much longer. Looking forward to the developments of the next few weeks with baited breath. Good luck to one and all. Holding 200,000 at 4.6 average. | ucorksuckers
06/3/2005 20:52 | SGD has always been rumoured as a good potential takeover target for the likes of Mitie or Securicor. | knowing

04/3/2005 09:42 | mar - on first glance the spread is terrible, but getting your broker to phone around the MM's usually results in more favourable terms. | los ricos
04/3/2005 09:40 | got to break above 5p this time round... | latifs100
04/3/2005 09:18 | 500k delayed buy. | los ricos
04/3/2005 08:59 | I've sold now. IC tips rarely last more than a couple of hours, and this is the kind of share that can only be sold when the ducks are quacking. | mike crowsoft
04/3/2005 08:26 | Los I agree with you of course but spreads like that do give investors second thoughts when they they know that the price has got to go up 10 to 15 percent just to break even. | marvelman
04/3/2005 08:22 | ps MM's 4v4 | los ricos
04/3/2005 08:20 | mar - chart showing that spread shouldn't matter too much if you are investing on fundamentals IMO. | los ricos
