ScreenFX announces Sir Geoffrey Pattie as Chairman

The board of ScreenFX plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Sir
Geoffrey Edwin Pattie as non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.

During a long and distinguished career Sir Geoffrey (69) has held a wide range
of senior roles across both private and public sectors. In the 1970's he was
Managing Director of Collett Dickenson Pearce, a leading UK advertising agency.
Elected to Parliament in 1974, he served in a variety of senior government
roles, culminating in his appointment as Minister of State for Industry from
1984 to 1987, during which time he carried through the privatisation of British
Telecom. In 1987 he was knighted and made a Privy Counsellor. He resigned from
his Parliamentary seat at the General Election of 1997. He was Chairman and
Director of Marketing of Marconi Electronic Systems Ltd from 1990 to 1999, and
is currently the Senior Partner of Terrington Management.

Commenting on his appointment, Sir Geoffrey said:

"I am very pleased to be joining ScreenFX at such an exciting time in the
company's growth. Following the recent launches in Manchester, Birmingham and
Belfast the Group's network has a potential audience of over 280 million
shoppers a year, giving the Group the critical mass it needs to attract major
consumer brands, their advertising agencies and their media buyers. I look
forward to guiding the company through the next key stage in its development."

Sir Geoffrey replaces Richard Nichols as Chairman. Mr Nichols, who was
appointed ahead of the company's flotation in December 2003, has stepped down in
order to give more time to other projects.

Dave Clark, Chief Executive Officer of ScreenFX, said:

"The Board would like to thank Richard for his contribution to the company
during the first stage of its development, both through our successful flotation
and then as we rolled out our digital media network across the UK. We wish him
well for the future."

There are no further details required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of
Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
