28/9/2012 08:09 | Been watching and waiting on these and I was disappointed with these. No sign of them growing the businesses and looked like a veiled reference to a delisting to me | harrogate
22/8/2012 09:04 | Whoooooooosssshhhh! up 1p on £700 worth of shares traded! :-) | gingerplant
22/8/2012 08:23 | Is this the turning point? | parvez

30/7/2012 14:13 | Thanks Des I had seen the RNSs but am not aware of the real behind the scenes story? It would seem that she sold them something of a pig in a poke? | gingerplant
30/7/2012 12:04 | GP, I don't know if you're aware of the history. Within the space of a year ... I suspect they just wanted a total break from each other and perhaps this was the earliest date after some lock-in clause. The net effect is that the 7 days fiasco has seen Louise Palmer take £1.33m plus 11 months salary out of SAVG. In addition SAVG has had to absorb all the costs of the liquidation plus the time spent on it all. A total fiasco. However, the initial dilution of up to 1.4m shares has been reversed for only £40k which is a decent result and whilst both parties will have been very keen to cut all ties the SAVG Board would not have spent this cash plus that on CMC had they not felt things were at least stabilising. It is also good to see that these shares were bought back and that the two largest shareholders didn't buy them themselves like with another former director's stake. They were criticized over that at the last AGM and said they didn't want to spend company cash following the demise of 7 days. Now they feel more able to do so. Des | deswalker
30/7/2012 11:34 | She must've needed the cash badly to call it a day at 8p? | gingerplant
30/7/2012 10:28 | And confirmation it was Louise Palmer who sold. | deswalker
30/7/2012 08:00 | Good news IMO. Strongly suspect it is Louise Palmer who has sold. | deswalker
30/7/2012 07:19 | My guess would be Louise Palmer being the person selling | playful
30/7/2012 07:17 | Who's been selling at 8p though? | gingerplant

11/7/2012 08:28 | Check out the new website ... We have Fairplace and Cedar being developed as separate brands with new logos and websites, and CMC is included too. Looks pretty good to me and feels like things are continuing to head in the right direction. | deswalker
31/5/2012 16:09 | Here's the website .... | deswalker
31/5/2012 16:04 | News out. Looks good to me and has to be indicative that things are going okay in the other two businesses. Penny clearly has big plans. | deswalker
09/5/2012 12:18 | For a tiny company I have always said the Board was too big. In the last year more than half of the RNS announcements have related to appointments or retirements and resignations from the Board. I know it is a people business but focus on the actual business rather than its own people would be nice !! I think the directors know exactly what we mean after Des and I drilled it home at the last AGM and they are getting there it seems.. | davidosh
09/5/2012 11:20 | Also pleased to see Lord Freeman retire from the Board. No need to replace him IMO now that David Harrel is Chairman. Should save £30k ish per annum. | deswalker
09/5/2012 08:30 | Pleased to see a change of NOMAD. New beginnings and all that ... | deswalker
26/4/2012 11:21 | Had a brief conversation with the FD yesterday. Everything progessing to plan. Lots of work being done on developing Talent Management within Fairplace Cedar. Very keen to rebuild the business and regain the trust of shareholders. | deswalker
01/3/2012 15:47 | another RNS to say that the directors were the buys? | parvez
01/3/2012 15:34 | No surprise on that news. | playful
27/2/2012 20:41 | Brookwell have definitely sold out completely. I guess an RNS will soon follow. | davidosh
27/2/2012 20:13 | Yes I guess so. Good news as the overhang was a concern. Raises the question as to who were the buyers. | deswalker |
