Posted at 13/8/2013 09:20 by boystown Well it's been nice to see this perk up a little after the trading update - but it' still one of those shares that is largely ignored by the market - understandably perhaps. It's too small to bother with a listing and the downbeat way they always report tends to suggest those involved would rather not have a listing. This, of course, is dangerous territory for us investors but the good news is that the shareholder register makes it very difficult for them to de-list without offering us a decent premium. So where does that leave the valuation? Well with NAV of close to £1m, no debt, and the company now trading profitably on revenues of somewhere around £7.5m - and IF we're in for the kind of gradual recovery most pundits seem to suggest we are, then margins of, say, 7.5% should be achievable on growing sales. Apply the usual kind of stingy multiplier of 6 and add in a little for the NAV-cum-goodwill and a valuation of £4.6m seems about right (and certainly not too optimistic IMO). IF all that came to pass as would seem reasonable and unambitious, the share price would be 32p which is why I bought a decent tranche after the update. |

Posted at 08/10/2010 10:02 by davidosh Hi Des,Blimey that is a coincidence and a half. You have exactly the same holding as me. I will try to arrange an investor presentation in the next few weeks but I am afraid Mello is fully booked for the next three months. They are exceptionally popular these days with just below 70 investors at the last one in September. As for PC and MUBL. Watch this space as the large investors are on the case. I already told them nearly a year ago that two new non execs were vital. I think we shall see some tightening on corporate governance there. |

Posted at 15/11/2009 17:47 by davidosh CR.....I think 36 Fools asking questions in a forum and privately at dinner with three directors attending and with some of these guys being really cynical 'kick everything' types suggests any company opening itself up to scrutiny like this is unlikely to be lying through their teeth.I accept that some individuals take every word spoken by a director to be gospel but if you attended one of these events you would see that they are far more useful than a broker note or company literature and accounts by themselves without fully understanding the nature or risks involved with each business. There will be a lot more knowledge on the boards about Savile after tomorrow. More investors should try to take advantage of such presentations as I go to a lot of effort to arrange them. |
