90s now

No overhead resistance

There are some very interesting charts out there that suggest this could go nuts

….except that the current Salvarx price is reflective of the Portage share price being half of the 12 cents it is now ?

My concern here is that the Portage share price is leading Salvarx - only Portage volume is tiny,as usual.

Well it doesn't look like the market has much faith in portage shareholders voting for the deal otherwise we'd be at £1+ by now.....

I was in at 35 on a placing, but took the stake off the table on the first spike @63. The remainder is running for free and with the uncertain UK outcome in the near future Portage looks a good outcome.unfortunately the remaining is only low 5 figures, but was a punt.

I would usually but this looks like the start for Portage. Coming out the gates strongly and Intensity have had a lot of newsflow coming out. There will be a lot of people who made money on Portage previously looking to re-invest for the sequel I suspect.

Agreed Stig, but probably best to use the latest offer price which was $0.105 but that still gives a GBP1.49 conversion. My concern was that Portage would open very weakly yesterday which was not the case, so assuming they hold the current level then the arbitrage has to kick in big time as we head to completion date. Adding in, that we retain the SALV shell(which may get a Juvinescence investment?), and that the said shell retains some Portage shares then the SALV share price looks ''too good to be true'' but looks like it actually is!!! Thankfully own 144k shares, all bought after the original deal (based on my view on Intensity) so averaging 67p but hopeful of a big profit to come! Got to be heading higher on Monday.

That was 18 x 10c

Now it'll be 18 x 12c

So we are looking at $2.16 per SALV share

Current £/$ exchange rate £1:$1.27

So $2.16 = £1.70

Almost 200% upside here !

Shareholders who continue to hold SalvaRx shares will also receive 18 Demerger Shares (i.e. Portage shares) for every share in SalvaRx held on the Demerger Record Date, equivalent to approximately US$1.80* per SalvaRx share

Why has Portage not recommenced trading? The circular has been out long enough now.

There has been a whole heap of positive sounding news from Intensity in the interim which needs discounting

Portage interims to 30 Sep:

The company seems to be just spinning its wheels doing not a lot burning $70k per month mainly on admin costs.

Hopefully they will put the shareholder material for the SALV transaction on their website when trading recommences sometime next week. The shares are very illiquid so will be interesting to see what happens.

Now now children calm down. Dear Stigologist there is more to Portage than just the reverse takeover. Having returned a big lump of cash to shareholders on the Biohaven IPO it enjoys a lot of goodwill. And based on the terms of the deal I can see a lot of upside. Biotech is much better understood and followed on the other side of the pond.
