Why has Portage not recommenced trading? The circular has been out long enough now.

There has been a whole heap of positive sounding news from Intensity in the interim which needs discounting

Portage interims to 30 Sep: Https://www.portagebiotech.com/images/pdf/fs_2q19.pdf The company seems to be just spinning its wheels doing not a lot burning $70k per month mainly on admin costs. Hopefully they will put the shareholder material for the SALV transaction on their website when trading recommences sometime next week. The shares are very illiquid so will be interesting to see what happens.

Now now children calm down. Dear Stigologist there is more to Portage than just the reverse takeover. Having returned a big lump of cash to shareholders on the Biohaven IPO it enjoys a lot of goodwill. And based on the terms of the deal I can see a lot of upside. Biotech is much better understood and followed on the other side of the pond.

It will be very interesting to see what happens to the Portage share price when trading resumes some time next week.

I gather the problem has been the CSE has gone to pot ie it has been swamped by cannabis company listings. But trading in Portage will resume shortly and the acquisition has, I believe, been approved. However we may have to wait another month for the deal to go through.

A pure UK Deal in STHP has taken 14 months already and no news to remove the suspension!

Must be time for another one of those updates that tell us nothing ? Are the Canadians still slogging their way through the Portage bid paperwork ? If so how much bloody paperwork is there for goodness sake. Surely all such cases can't take this long ?

Ahhh Stig. You are good. I knew I could rely on you to come on here and be a charmless gimp. And, of course, you didn't let me down.

It has gone very quiet on here ! It is feeling like the longer this goes on the more chance the whole thing fizzling out. And that it wouldn't take much for these to be back down at 20p....

I wish. My portfolio is mostly speculative stuff (or, in some cases, stuff which has become speculative after I bought). Am down around 40% overall at this point on a £100k portfolio. My own fault for putting too much into individual shares and / or chasing losses (eg bought Interserve at £2.40, £1.60 and 89p and they still kept falling. Before you know where you are you have bought shares for £10k which are worth £2k). Hey ho...

Dex, I hope the jam tomorrows are only a small percentage of your funds. As my broker once said I needed to curb my appetite for risk!

If I'm a trolling idiot then I must also be a masochist as I'm holding these ! I was genuinely expecting an amazing announcement - and a doubling of the Salvarx share price. I'm already up 100% so I suppose I can't be too greedy. Am holding lots of 'jam tomorrow' shares most of which are truly awful (including ITX, RM2, RMS, CNR, PPC, PGD etc) and some real dogs (DEB, IRV, ISAT, DIA, BARC)….

Where are the concern trolling idiots now ? dexdringle 21 Oct '18 - 12:25 - 321 of 335 I came on here today expecting a load of posts re some news yesterday, as expected in previous posts on here, that Intensity had made a world changing breakthrough and that Salvarx's 9% would be worth a fortune. Instead just tumbleweed.... Presumably no such news / progress after all ? Bscuit 21 Oct '18 - 13:35 - 322 of 335 Ditto
