Director/PDMR Shareholdings

In accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R, the Company gives notice that on 29 August 2014, notification pursuant to DTR 3.1.2 R was received of the following dealings by directors in the shares of Salamander Energy plc:

(i) the exercise of options over ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of 10p per Ordinary Share, under the terms of the Salamander Energy Performance Share Plan ("PSP") and the Salamander Energy Deferred Equity Plan ("DEP") as noted below:

(ii) the purchase of 50,000 Ordinary Shares by Mr James Menzies on 28 August 2014 (0.019% of issued share capital) at a price of GBP1.05 per Ordinary Share.
