24/10/2019 10:42 | I have been rather vaguely looking at increasing my holding here as we are under new management. However an article in the FT on the drying up of financing to the US shale industry plus increase in bankruptcies has made me have second thoughts. This of course reflects the reference to market conditions in the interims. Most of the focus is of course on Bakken and Permian. What is especially noteworthy is the drying up of equity funding. It seems new management rowing against a very strong current. I have to take my hat off to management for getting us1m of grant funding from the US DOE and University of Utsh. | cerrito
18/10/2019 23:54 | kemche, the CEO and Directors of this company have been paid very very well over many many years, perhaps if what they have purchased in the Paradox is a no brainer. Perhaps they should sink their life savings into it! Well they know all the risks associated with this project, so perhaps it is time they stepped up to the mark and put their own money in to finish this project. Unfortunately this company has made major losses in past years. Who will now put in the money to fund this next adventure? Share price very low since the 100-1 consolidation, perhaps they should have another 100-1 consolidation? | southcbubble
18/10/2019 16:15 | Surely another fundraising soon? It's only fair. | kemche
18/10/2019 13:30 | beetroot juice, stop talking rubbish, how can Roses share price multi-bag? The share price for many years has fallen to todays pathetic price. For a share to multi-bag, the company needs to have something special, and what have Rose got, well they have not even got a hole in the ground in the Paradox. As for Rose being a Top buy on AIM, LOL, LOL, LOL. | southcbubble
17/10/2019 12:21 | Expect another HSBC Holding RNS and Big News to drop in any day now. ROSE is the current Top buy on AIM, but most cannot see it. For certain this will Multi Bag big time from these lows... | beetroot juice
16/10/2019 15:59 | obmuj ''I'll be happy if I get even half my investment back''. Really cannot see that happening! | southcbubble
14/10/2019 16:38 | Southcbubble: "obmuj, stop speculating" Southcbubble: *speculates* :)))))) | cmackay
14/10/2019 15:13 | obmuj, stop speculating, the share price has been falling for years, even after the 100-1 consolidation, the share price has just fallen away. We have had years of what might be! If Rose had anything special in the Paradox, surely one of the big boys would be paying for the drilling rig. I though we were suppose to be drilling the Paradox in 2019? My opinion is that Rose will try a placing of shares. Can't see any long term holders buying any though. obmuj, just give your money away to charity, it will do more good than putting it in here. | southcbubble
14/10/2019 13:24 | Taken from today's RNS: "The acreage represents an estimated post-tax net present value to Rose Petroleum of USD59 million, a significant premium to the company's current stock market capitalization of USD2.5 million." Well, if this comes off that's a 20+ bagger from today's price. But then one has to consider how let down Rose investors have been for years. However, "if" this new strategy works it might be worth chucking in a few bob with "money that one can afford to lose" as the payday will be phenomenal sometime down the road, the road being sometime in 2020 I guess. Typical of AIM sometimes there is a one-off that actually does pay off and this might, just might be it if one considers what seems to be a far more insightful and qualified management team on board now. Interesting one - food for thought! | obmuj
07/10/2019 23:42 | sportsauto, you say Rose are trending up? Are you sure about that? | southcbubble
07/10/2019 23:37 | Leeroy Jenkins, I thought we were supposed to have funding for the Paradox by April 19. Has Rose's presentation at The Global Group UK Investor Show in April 19, improved its share price? | southcbubble
07/10/2019 22:36 | Cerrito, so where will Roses share price be in two months time. Will it be up or down? Who will be backing them to fund the drilling in the Paradox. What happened in Cuba? Was that a profitable adventure? | southcbubble
07/10/2019 22:25 | With this very good news in 2014, now we are in 2019 why is the share price so low? And why has Rose lost so much money? | southcbubble
07/10/2019 22:23 | With this very good news in 2014, now we are in 2019 why is the share price so low? And why has Rose lost so much money? | southcbubble
07/10/2019 22:13 | Caravaggio What way do you see the share price going, up or down, with all this good news and all those promising surveys! Where are we heading with ROSE? You probably will not answer that question. But please tell us, is the share price going up or down. Will there be more shares placed on the market to fund the Paradox? Or any new adventure Rose propose? | southcbubble
30/9/2019 17:09 | This half year report tells me absolutely NOTHING.Have I missed something? | cheeky13
30/9/2019 15:35 | I have a few of these from days gone by. I caught up with the interims to see where we are now that the adults have taken over. I have paid them minimum attention over the last year. I see that they had £461k of cash at end June having had an operating cash outflow of £787k in H1 but still felt comfortable signing off on a going concern statement. Makes sense to me that they are closing down Cuba etcet and concentrating on where they have value added. It seems that the next RNS will be to announce the acquisition and associated share issue.I see that they have no shareholders with a notifiable stake outside the directors and their chums. The question is how long will they maintain their London listing which must be a real and expensive drag for them? A good case can be made for a UK Investor to be here to get away from all the UK country risk…but I will pass because I know nothing of these people and think there is a very good chance they will delist from AIM which is always a messy process. Other views welcome as I ponder what to do with my current holding. | cerrito
25/9/2019 23:44 | cmackay ''Maybe'', are you having a laugh or what. The simple fact of the matter is Rose has lost millions over the last 5 years, how the heck is any individual, company, bank going to want to buy into this company? If Rose had anything of any value, the CEO and previous CEO and directors of this company would be piling their own money to get whatever is in the ground out, to make them very very very rich, that is not happening here! The risk is probably too great for them to put all their money into this project! At the end of the day you pays your money and takes your chance. If you put your money into Rose, it is my opinion that you will loose your money! Just look at Roses past financial record! It does not look very good, that is my opinion for what it is worth! | southcbubble
25/9/2019 12:45 | cmackay, this is not a long shot, this is a throwing your money down the drain shot. With no positive news, watch before your very own eyes over the coming months how the share price will fall. | southcbubble
24/9/2019 14:55 | I can understand a lack in confidence. Luckily I can make charitable offerings as well as take long shot punts on the junior market :) | cmackay |
