The Company was advised on 13 October 2009 that the following directors and 
PDMRs purchased ordinary 2p shares (Shares) under the Company's dividend 
reinvestment plan (DRIP) on 9 October 2009 at a share price of 54p per share and 
under the Company's BAYE Scheme (BAYE) on 13 October 2009 at a share price of 
55p per share, as indicated below:

Chris Bailey - 144 DRIP Shares 
Ashley Martin - 8,179 DRIP Shares and 285 BAYE Shares

Martin Donnachie - 1,704 BAYE shares

The Board determined that Steve Carden, Martin Donnachie and Nigel Lemmon should 
be designated as PDMRs with effect from 1 October 2009. 
 
 
Following these dealings, the revised shareholdings and interests of these 
directors/PDMRs are as follows: 
 
 
Stephen Pettit now has a holding of 52,909 Shares in the Company, representing 
less than 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. 
 
 
Garvis Snook now has a direct holding of 578,862 Shares in the Company and an 
indirect holding of 977,419 Shares vested under the LTIP scheme but not yet 
exercised.  These holdings represent approximately 0.87% of the issued share 
capital of the Company. He also holds unvested awards of 1,105,223 Shares under 
the LTIP scheme and 47,402  Shares unvested under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Chris Bailey now has a holding of 10,673 Shares in the Company, representing 
less than 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. 
 
 
Ashley Martin now has a holding of 635,731 Shares in the Company representing 
approximately 0.35% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also holds 
unvested awards over 755,142 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 30,084 
Shares unvested under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Rob Olorenshaw now has a holding of 44,281 Shares, representing approximately 
0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also holds unvested awards 
over 420,060 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 21,772 Shares under the 
Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
Steve Carden now has a holding of 4,712 Shares in the Company, representing less 
than 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also holds unvested 
awards over 92,081 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 1,523 Shares 
under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Martin Donnachie has a holding of 7,992 Shares in the Company, representing less 
than 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also holds unvested 
awards over 133,030 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 5,747  Shares 
under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Claire Hamon now has a holding of 38,804 Shares in the Company, representing 
approximately 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company. She also holds 
unvested awards over 129,433 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 8,571 
Shares under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Nigel Lemmon now has a holding of 7,021 Shares in the Company, representing less 
than 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also holds unvested 
awards over 260,625 Shares under the LTIP scheme, together with 4,550 Shares 
under the Deferred Bonus Plan. 
 
 
Julian Turnbull now has a direct holding of 439,675 Shares and an indirect 
holding of 61,236 Shares vested under the LTIP scheme but not yet exercised. 
These holdings representing approximately 0.28% of the issued share capital of 
the Company. He also holds unvested awards over 112,375 Shares under the LTIP
