            Robert Wiseman Dairies PLC ("Wiseman" or the "Company")

                            Director's Shareholding

Wiseman has been advised that Mourant & Co. Trustees Limited purchased 125,000
ordinary shares of 10p in the Company on 24 September 2003 at a price of 255.5p
per share for the Robert Wiseman Dairies PLC Share Ownership Trust (the "Trust")
(a trust established to facilitate the operation of the Robert Wiseman Dairies
PLC Long Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP")).

William Keane, as a potential beneficiary of the LTIP (together with other
employees of Robert Wiseman), is deemed to have an interest in the shares held
by the Trust.
