These two projects are part of the 'Scaling Solar' initiative, jointly carried out by the Senegalese authorities and the International Finance Corporation (IFC, member of the World Bank Group) in Senegal. They are located in Kahone, in the region of Kaolack and in Touba-Kaël, in the region of Diourbel. Engie and Meridiam will each hold a 40% interest in the project company.
