I received a note from Equity Development yesterday re Braemar. Nigel Wray and Stephen Hemsley have taken a £1.3m stake thro private placing.

Could have interesting results for RGN

Nice to see some news flow from the company and the return on the above is far better than what they would have achieved in the bank.

I just looked 2 v 3p How the hell the company thought that this would improve liquidity I will never know. Might as well buy on the open market.

Or do the company get paid to enter the plus market?

Any time frame for our first news at all?

Edit Ill shut up you ment the normal market. lol up 11% and a spread of 30% lol what was that word again liquidity ?

Just watch here and wanted to say thanks to the thread for some interesting articles and posts.

I have been buying in small amounts. Given the NMS is 500 shares, I saw that an MM has switched to the bid from the offer this am. So topped up with another 25k shares. Talk about hard work had to phone the broker.

Anyway will go back to watching thanks to all.

I think that this is one of those shares you have to buy on dull days. No way you will even get hold of 500 shares in a day when news hits.

Interesting john so a mm had to bid well above the mid to get your
stock to fill a 150k order, i just assumed they had plenty to sell
anyway so maybe the tiny online buy size is true and they dont have much
stock, it was 250k v 15k today.

Looks like a lot of stock has gone into safe hands then.

Sold today @2.35p buyers were very active. might get back after movement and first deals. Thanks for comment on managers, very helpful. Certainly makes a change from miners.
