Looking more and more like a real, working company. What a difference this year. Can’t wait for our Phillipine and Alaskan ventures to bear fruit.

Shares in Red Emperor Resources have risen from 1.83p to 3p since our coverage in June. Here, we look at the updates #RMP has released since announcing the deal & ask whether its current bull run, which has seen shares leap 114% since January, can continuehttps://total-market-solutions.com/2018/09/14/the-rising-of-red-emperor/

Well I bought some more today, was just waiting for a divi payment.

First bought in three years ago on a tip and really thought it was dead money but this upcoming drill is interesting.

Very positive on all things oil, its only going one way as reserves need to be replenished and two / three years of no exploration.

Good posts and I hope people are right, I have held RMP for many years and my only caution is the history of the company is not good. I still hold but must admit I have tried to sell into any strength of the share price, still have a token number of shares of approx 100k and am willing to see what happens with the latest venture, good luck all.

HiNew to the board. Noticed RMP today. Can someone tell me when they are drilling and are they fully funded or is dilution probable? Thanks

phoebusav,

Very good points well made. I would also say folk need to wake up to the fact Armstrong went hunting previous oil discoveries that were made decades ago and better defining them to eventually spot the trend and endup with the Horse-shoe discovery and play they have opened up.

RMP have also got a discovery on the license they are about to drill, Itallik 1, which had logged oil shows. Very important as its derisks the license massively.

10c is way too low. Some drillers hit market caps of well over 100p per barrel in the run up to TD. At Verbier JOG was targeting 21.1 MMB net with 29% COS. Its market cap reached £33.5M, which equates to a price per barrel of 159p unrisked or 548p risked. RMP's drill has a similar COS to Verbier, but is 6 times bigger on a net barrels basis. RMP's drill is also onshore and RMP has a bigger cash pile than JOG did at the time it drilled Verbier.

Given that RMP's drill is onshore near very large discoveries on a prolific oil trend, and has a COS of 25-30% should push the valuation per barrel pre result towards the high end. If we assume $5/B in the success case and risk this at 25% that give a valuation per barrel of 96p/B pre result, which for 126MMB net share implies a speculative valuation of £120M or 28p/share. Even if it only achieves half of this multiplier that will still be a huge increase in share price

The history and liquidity of RMP makes a strong rerate even more likely IMO. After years of doing nothing RMP was unloved and ignored resulting in thinly traded share with a huge spread sat at a massive discount to net current assets. The sudden injection of a really exiting operational catalyst transformed the outlook in an instant. This is the perfect recipe for a sustained rerate and major short squeeze. So far the MMs have done a good job controlling the pace of the rerate, but if there is any sustained buying the share price should squeeze higher very quickly. Yesterday I could sell around £50K in one go, which suggest the MMs are keen to get stock as they expect the share price to move significantly higher. GLA
