What you have to remember is that the lithium will also be needed for other batteries not only the ones that go into cars but Powerwall etc ,the National Grid is also starting to see the use of battery banks for peak times rather than depending on pumped storage schemes.EV are only one part and I agree that range and charge time is an important factor for these but not all uses.

Lithium has two distinct drawbacks for vehicles. Range, charge time. Lithium will rule in the short term, but research is moving at an exponential rate, and therefore in a short time, who knows, it could be a completely different medium that powers electric vehicles. And on that day, shares in lithium will stagnate...be careful.

Rayrac...no they've found something in the ground alright, they're going to sell their holdings when lithium starts to take off, maybe 5 years from now... I honestly don't think they are miners just an investment vehicle. I notice the price has soared of late, but on the back of what news?.
