We request that those members who have an outstanding debit balance on their account to settle these as soon as possible. Use the help option - if anything seems unclear. It is very important that you know what you are bidding on and the terms of sale before you bid. Keep Records - of all correspondence Carefully Evaluate - your payment options Use common sense - If the item description or terms of sale seem too good to be true, they probably are. We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who joined the QXL auction community during the previous 10 years and thank you for your custom and loyalty. If you have any questions or need advice please email on enquiries@qxl.com Kind Regards The QXL Team. Well this is the best news I have heard in a long time. At last a sign that QXL may oneday go bust. They deserve too, after falsly being overvalued at around 100 times more than they should be. Giving the risk the PE should be no more than 1. Last year they made 10m profit, and I imagine the years of them seeing a having profits will oneday be history. | lord santafe

02/2/2008 10:34 | Forever regret/Born in Circumstance Hi, I spent 2 hours trying to persuade/boring colin Kingsnorth at Laxey Partners (the hedge fund) in an ill-fitting suit, to buy these, 20% of the total equity of QXL when the whole company was worth less than a £1million. I was too poor, as a carer on benefit, to do so for myself, and never had any access to this board, it was all off my own back research. I even tried communicating with the board on what more (ideas) they could do at the lowest point/ worst time. They (laxey) essentially laughed at me and wouldn't even consider me for work-experience, despite knowing, and telling, with a passion about the off-radar value. Within about 9 months, the guy who sold his site to ebay in france, bought into it. All that time, at every event, I've seen it's journey north to rehabilitation. That meeting took place in about september 2003. When £2000 would be worth almost £1.5million+ now. The company would double in size if it remained listed. I'm still on benefit. Yours kindly, Shakir Razak | zoo123
