Q Resources announces the appointment of Gavin Ferrar as Chief Financial Officer

Q Resources is pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Ferrar as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Gavin joins from Investec Bank where he was responsible for the origination and execution of mining and metals debt as well as equity financing for Investec's Capital Markets division.

Gavin has worked extensively in Africa and has held a number of significant financial and management roles including senior positions in the metals and mining investment banking teams at WestLB and Barclays Capital.

Gavin also has a wealth of operational experience across the metals and mining sector, working at AngloGold as Project Manager on the Yatela Gold Project and at Anglo American for 4 years in the New Mining Business Division.

He has an MBA from Imperial College London in Finance Specialism and a Masters degree in Geology from the University of Natal.
