    Grant of Share Options


    Pubs 'n' Bars plc (AIM: PNB.L), a community public house owner and operator, announces that pursuant to the Pubs 'n' Bars Unapproved
Share Option Scheme 1999, it has granted a total of 1,000,000 Share Options at an exercise price of 23.5p per Ordinary Share to the
following Directors and employees.

    The above Share Options are exercisable after a period of three years from the date of grant.


    Following today's grant of Options, the above Directors' interests (either directly or indirectly) in Ordinary 20p Shares ("Ordinary
Shares") and Options are set out below:

    Pursuant to the announcement made on 2 May 2008, the total issued share capital of the Company was incorrectly notified.  The total
number of shares in issue is 39,828,358 and is the figure which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which
they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency rules.

September 1999, the estate has grown from 51 to 110 public houses, 106 of which are owned by Pubs 'n' Bars the balance being operated on

Company aims to maximise profits by encouraging its managers to take an entrepreneurial approach to developing their businesses and by
