Cumulative Redeemable Preference Share Capital of Public Network plc as detailed
in a separate announcement made today.

Public Network plc has been informed that Providence Investment Company Limited
no longer has a notifiable interest under section 198 of the Companies Act in
the 5p Ordinary Share capital of Public Network plc.  However, as announced
today, Providence Investment Company Limited has a notifiable interest in the
30% 5p Cumulative Redeemable Preference Share Capital of Public Network plc.

On 6 May 2003, Public Network plc announced that resolutions put to shareholders
in the Circular, dated 10 April 2003, were duly passed at the Extraordinary
General Meeting.  Public Network plc has been notified of disclosable interests
as  result of the dilutive effects of debt conversion and share subscription
following the passing of the resolutions.
