Repayment of loan facility 
 
 
Further to the announcement made on 2 July 2009, the Board of Proventec plc 
(AIM:PROV, Alternext:ALPTC), confirms that it has repaid the short-term, 16% per 
annum unsecured loan for the provision of a total of GBP500,000 used to support 
the working capital requirements of the Company. 
 
 
Following repayment the Company is pleased to announce that the loan provider 
has subscribed for a new loan note, under the same terms as the existing 8.5% 
fixed rate convertible guaranteed unsecured loan notes 2012 for GBP320,000.

Proventec Healthcare provides innovative solutions for infection control and 
effective cleaning in the healthcare sector. The Company's specialist steam 
cleaning technology has been successfully proven in clinical trials with 
University College London Hospitals to rid all areas and combat the spread of 
micro-organisms, including 'superbugs' such as MRSA and Clostridium difficile.
