12/7/2013 09:52 | More good news, albeit simply according to plan. | edmundshaw
11/7/2013 16:43 | IR have gone quiet again, I had no problem with answers before results. Like NBU trust needs to be earned, keeping quiet isn't the way. | celeritas
11/7/2013 09:16 | ACC up nearly 7% yesterday, ACC now worth 75p a share to PMHL, nearly the entire market cap. | dr contrarian
09/7/2013 14:33 | another 900k picked up. free float (unless matching decreasing rns comes out) is reduced by about 0.7% | fft
09/7/2013 14:07 | Yes - just noticed the announcement - so it appears that LIM are still keen to pick up any loose stock. Good to see an institution recognising the undervaluation here. | dr contrarian
09/7/2013 14:03 | Lim buying more | celeritas
06/7/2013 04:36 | LA, is your broker (or others) producing any notes on PMHL ? would be interested in having a look if he does. Did he have any other comments after the conf call ? i.e. is there status buy, increase holding, sell ? thanks | fft
05/7/2013 12:03 | LA - Sounds like a good broker, may have to change/upgrade my broker sometime ... my current broker's aren't too knowledgeable about PMHL. I have to do all my info digging via the Company (which has improved lately) or the Company broker. | dr contrarian
05/7/2013 11:48 | My broker has spoken to Patrick Li ,the CEO. | look alive
05/7/2013 11:47 | I hear conference calls are going on with large holders. | celeritas
05/7/2013 11:33 | LA - Interesting - out of interest whose your contact ? - Company, Company broker or your broker ? | dr contrarian
05/7/2013 11:08 | Apparently most of the loss on investments relates to a strategic stake in a Bolivian mining company now threatened with Nationalisation by the Government.Very much a one-off I am told. | look alive
05/7/2013 10:35 | The falling Yuan/Sterling rate (now at record low) will also boost the value of our Chinese assets. As you mentioned celes, the value of the rest of the company, the property assets and the upcoming profits are being ignored ... for now. I think we will see some sort of rerating once the property profits are booked ... that's if Chairman Wong doesn't mount an opportunistic bid beforehand. | dr contrarian
05/7/2013 10:10 | Well after acc the rest of the company is worth a grand total of £8m. Lets ignore the £210m received from Oriental. | celeritas
04/7/2013 08:48 | Sales moving nicely along at the moment - 8 sold since the pre-lims - 37 remaining - ACC making a good recovery also - | dr contrarian
02/7/2013 14:42 | Its interesting. They seem to want the price better, hence the Conference Calls. But this could easily have been achieved by holding or increasing the dividend most of which goes to PIHL anyway. And if Wong wanted to buy in the Minority it would be counterproductive to push the price better. I am assuming that he may be genuinely seeking outside views. | look alive
02/7/2013 14:37 | I would also like to know why a bigger divi isn't going to be given, given the amount of cash pmhl have. He wants to keep it for some reason. | celeritas
02/7/2013 14:24 | But, I mean, the cash is flooding in every day so although I understand why they can't include the actual profit in this year's figures, the business is cash rich now and can easily afford a generous divi IN ANTICIPATION of the bumper year to come. Similarly, the buy back can start now, or very soon. Makes me cynical about the underlying intentions here; if I invest in someone's business I expect honesty and transparency. Come on analysyts - friggin well tell em so! | philjeans
02/7/2013 14:24 | Celeritas - just clicked the details link and this takes you through to the site below - which is interesting as it gives individual room sales info - ( though as you mentioned - comparing figures with company's own figures indicates that these sites are approximately 46 units behind) | dr contrarian
02/7/2013 14:02 | Oh yeah I see. Thats from Netease who are way behind. It's good to see the avg price but it is 40 property sales behind. | celeritas
02/7/2013 13:55 | Celeritas - at the top, just below the heading - 'Nearly a week of sales data: SOLD 5 sets, 86 sets unsold, the current average price: 42,223 yuan / square' | dr contrarian
02/7/2013 13:54 | I often think the same phil but I bet we are surprised well before then. Surprises most often come when you least expect them. | celeritas
02/7/2013 13:52 | Where are you seeing that Dr, that link you posted is from last year. | celeritas |
