Its called using your brain. The capacity market auctions were a disappointment to the whole industry. Everyone is looking at income streams. The most profitable for gas sites will be merchant sales and Plutus will be well positioned.

the change of strategy has resulted from the weak capacity market mechanism results. The investment case is now weaker. Their "revisions to modelling" will have resulted from that. The Triad RNS was in 2017 - no meaningful RNS regarding strategy since Jan'18 - where does "savvy" get his information from? People have been walking away, hence the large fall in the share price.

Thanks 1savvyinvestorThat's what my understanding was looking at past information, their was an RNSs around the time of Triad issue, which mentioned 'looking at new revenue streams' which implied a charge of direction - those revenue streams are listed on the website.I don't understand why some on here are being so negative, if you don't like something vote with your feet - walk away

oh dear, has clearly been eating away at him all weekend. Calls shareholders "idiots" and other choice vulgar words. Refers to Nick Lee at Paternoster as "finally getting his act together" - very disrespectful of the largest shareholder. Is privy to a change in strategy that has never been announced on an RNS. Too much information, you're making yourself sound desperate now. Do shareholders a favour and resign.

A few Facts for general perusal;
1; I am not Charles Tatnal!! I am a professional musician with an interest in investing
2; Plutus Powergen took 12 months to raise the £30 million plus it did from Rockpool for the nine sites
3; its market cap at that time was £2.6 million.
4; it raised £30 million and then a further £20 million (rough figures) from a market cap of under £5 million
5; it is now trying to get funding for 10 sites with a budget of around £15 million per site. Its current market cap is pretty irrelevant as each site will be a standalone spv.
6; since the capacity market mechanism weak results I expect they had to look again at modelling
7; since then about 6 month has passed. Given the size of the deal they are trying to pull together it should be no surprise this is taking time.
8; As an investor taking the long view I am confident that they will pull this off.
9; And don't forget that Rockpool sites value to PPG worth far in excess of PPG market cap.

Interestingly, a few years ago, when Tatnall was involved in BPRG, there was a poster on those boards, by the name of CT98. IIRC that poster accidentally revealed his full name in an email exchange with another poster. His full name: Charles Tatnall. It does happen.

Probably, maybesum. Catching up with posts last night, it looks like a few nerves / tempers are fraying.

My view hasn't changed. A key risk here is delivery risk. They just aren't doing it fast enough. And I've never been convinced that they have the management team to create an industry leading company. The economics of their original operating model have fundamentally changed, and they seem unable to adapt.

There is little to be bullish about imo, other than the hope that they will, eventually, announce some kind of deal for developing gas sites, or batteries, or something.

Great chunks of shares sold off yesterday and today. I suppose the usual suspects will turn up on here later on talking complete rubbish about it being a great time to top up!

If they just tweeted to show the development of the remaining 3 Rockpool sites, it would help. Last year, they were well on with them by now, and still they didn't get commercially available with them until Nov/Jan.

If they have started, why not tell the shareholders? If they haven't started, wtf is going on?

gosh the lack of any update is really driving this down. beggars belief that the bod are keeping so quiet - last year they released an update in May and many other updates.

What progress? I know of no progress. All RNSs re gas sites have yet to be delivered on, so what progress do you know of that we don’t?? All I see is time lines and promises unfulfilled, where is the honesty in that?

giving up trying to argue with idiots. Sp down; yes of course not happy. But I'm happy with honesty and progress of the company in a difficult regulatory environment. This will come good.
