Good to see some North. Stung like many others over this year I have kept the faith mainly because thus far the management of this company have always delivered what they have said within the time they have described - such a rare phenomenon. It's the government who change the rules disrupting the business (accepting Ofhem is just a surrogate).

When PLUTUS POWERGEN spoke last:

"Overall, the structural changes in the business and the reduction in TRIAD have put negative pressure on PPG's share price performance. However, all parties, be it the Board, Rockpool or financial advisors, believe the business case remains extremely compelling and that the future value of the business is attractive. Therefore, the Company remains committed to executing its development strategy in tandem with its partners.

Going forward, the Company has a pipeline of FlexGen gas projects totalling 150MW, which it will seek to retain an 80% plus interest in. The Company is focused on constructing a minimum of four gas powered projects per annum as they offer significant advantages, both environmental and financial, over renewable green diesel engines. However, the Company may consider other projects in certain circumstances, utilising strong relationships with key partners both in the finance and energy markets."

PPG Chairman Charles Tatnall said, "Following a re-work of our modelling, and considering OFGEM's proposal, we believe we still have an extremely robust and attractive business model. The market for flexible energy generation is clear to see and we have the team and are in well-developed discussions regarding the financial backing to deliver our projects and therefore our stated strategy. It is also important to emphasise that PPG continues to seek to fund the construction and development of its power generation sites through non-dilutive means. As such we continue to view the future with confidence."

---------------

- "extremely robust and attractive business model..."
- "view the future with confidence..."

I like that kind of language.

Another example of why May is such a bloody useless leader. She had a golden opportunity to ditch this when she came to power. Regarding Plutus, I genuinely believe the market has no understanding of how big they can become. Still at teething stage but the future is startlingly bright. Announcements have been few and far between but they are clearly gearing up for big news. Excellent Twitter photos of well advanced sites.

Further £bil cost added to Hinkley C yesterday, to be taken by EDF apparently. First reactor online 2025 (yea right!) wonder how long until EDF have to pull out?

Twitter getting busier...

Here is the link for the Google satellite view of the Plymouth Site at Ernsettle Industrial Park, looking as though the picture was taken just before the generators were installed.

Bristol will be a dead issue now. Annoying but I believe they have a dozen other sites or more lined up. Don't think they will go for a judicial review. Sometimes it is best just to walk away.

The application to Bristol seems to have had some bits of information missing, in particular the emissions data for bio-diesel, allowing them to refuse permission notwithstanding, due to a Nursery 250 meters away from proposed site. Still think they could go for a judicial review if they have the dosh for a QC.

Usual scenario is that buy land subject to all consents ... hence if dont get consents not committed to land purchase. Not always this way but often is.

October completion for Ipswitch build! Here's a question..,where planning fails, what happens to the land the site would have gone on? Anyone know what the deal is with regard to PPG acquiring land!?

And; my understanding is that they have other applications in that we don't even know about. Bristol has been a running sore. It was fully recommended for passing but has been subject to huge amounts of misinformation. A very successful guerrilla campaign to discredit the application seems to have worked.
