Posted at 04/4/2012 11:27 by chrisdawson83 IMO pivot need to release some news to get this share to kick forward as it stands Jeremy has left and sold potentially 1m shares, he may have left for medical or family issues and needed some money. However at the moment there is uncertainty in the market, I feel pivot should give some information as to why he has gone to clear things up along with a Q1 trading update |
Posted at 12/2/2012 21:24 by zac_mo TaraCurrent m/cap is riddiculous and no wonder directors have been buying. Last years placing was at 23p and there is broker targets of 45p + ( see below ) Looking good for a breakout this week into the 30's The reported financials indicate that there is still much for Stoller, Barbera et al. to do, but equally that significant progress towards restoring the strength of the company and towards its stated goal of being a highly-focused, transatlantic media and entertainment company has been made. The company is now focusing on driving "internal growth through business expansion and further integration between our London and New York operations, and external growth through acquisitions that will enable us to enhance our digital and media capabilities and expand our multi market consumer-based platform". Although swift in stock market terms, the 'cleaning out' process has taken longer, and challenges ran deeper, than the new management team initially envisaged. This is reflected in our forecast table. However, the company is confident the changes it has now been able to deliver "will significantly improve the future financial performance of Pivot Entertainment" and, following a chat with the company about its long-term outlook, we now consider a 2012 EV/EBITDA multiple of 12x as a justifiable rating. The resultant target price is in excess of 45p and thus at the current 24p, the stance is buy |

Posted at 27/1/2012 12:20 by sofie811 tara7 - I love your optimism and hope you are right - I was thinking 2012 would be a bad year with the Olympics disrupting all other forms of London entertainment especially the Theatre (some Theatres are actually closing for the duration of the Olympics) however the Company seem to be spreading their interests and despite the recession we are performing well - interestingly good businesses can do very well in recession because although the market size may drop good businesses compensate by taking bigger market shares as their competition struggle as we have seen with PVT.A little worried they have deferred the deferred consideration - any views ? Onwards and upwards. |
Posted at 27/1/2012 08:35 by tara7 Research pays off, take a look at my ten for 2012 all unloved but this month we see WSG, NTA, PVT,CSS,AEO, TLY, all roaring.!!PVT is valued to go bust, but should make good profits this year and trade on a pe of 12 14. Just watch the re rating. |
Posted at 20/1/2012 11:56 by tara7 Not sure what you are on .This company could turn in profits = to its share price within 18 months.!! |
Posted at 20/1/2012 11:53 by winch2 The trading update is v helpful and good news - as seen in today's share price rise. However, the shares are difficult to trade, depend much on sentiment from tip newsletters: if they change their mind, price will be hammered.Having said that, there's been good volume today (and a pattern of 50k trades in last few weeks). Hope there's life in the old dog yet ... |
Posted at 20/1/2012 09:45 by shanksaj Appetite for risk seems to have finally returned to the market, and the pond life of the small caps is finally stirring. Low valued co.s like Pivot should see some major re-ratings, but there are probably lots and lots of others due a re-price. Any ideas for other small caps where the underlying co. is no worse (or better) than before the share price drubbings would be appreciated. |
