arab,

18 to 24 months would be my guess which when you think about it is not long to make such a good return.

Some people would jump in and out of 10 stocks in that time but would they all multibag?

nope, would some have losses? yes...would you be better to get in here at the bottom, then hold and get a good night sleep and not have to worry? yes

This is a cracker because we have a solid team. The same guys that built and sold accumuli for £55 mill and not only that Gavin Lyons is a partner at MXCP and we have their backing too.

This will be their best to date imo because everything they done and learned via the Acummuli buy and build will be implemented here with ease as they have only just completed that B&B 3 months ago.

They will still retain contacts and have access to everything needed for success here.

Mr Roper,

MAYTECH

We as pinn are already in the security business but not with great scale. Mayteach would would give us scale and instantly cover all security needs in terms of what they offer and what we already offer combined. It would also allow cross selling of different solutions to a wider customer base which with maytech is a global one.

Freddie I don't know about getting 35p over the next 12 months, I think it may take a it longer but I think 25p to 30p is very realistic and with good sentiment and smart acquisitions then you might see 35p.

If we gave this a 18 to 24 month time frame then yes yo will see that because this does have 10 bag potential but it's going to take time so see it.

Lyons has joined embattled MSP Pinnacle Technology Group as its executive chairman and claims he sees a "huge market opportunity" for the comms and IT security specialist.

Back in April, channel investment vehicle MXC Capital – which is renowned for building MSPs via acquisitions – took a 10 per cent stake in the firm. Lyons, who joined MXC in November, said his appointment comes as part of this investment.

"MXC was appointed by Pinnacle to advise on the company's strategy and also to identify acquisition opportunity," he told CRN. "I am in effect delivering against that promise and I will be the person on MXC's behalf with Pinnacle to drive forth that strategy to identify acquisition opportunities."

Owing to its status as a public firm, Lyons remained tight-lipped on where these acquisitions will fall but said Pinnacle will look to provide SMBs with a broad spectrum of technology.

"We are going to focus on offering customers an integrated platform that enables customers to get a competitive advantage," he said. "As a result of that, that's going to [mean] bringing a range of technology and services, because what SMBs want is one company; one trusted adviser they can turn to for their IT needs."

Prior to joining MXC in November, Lyons was CEO at security VAR Accumuli, and oversaw its integration with NCC Group following its takeover earlier this year. During his time at Accumuli, Lyons led a number of acquisitions, and Pinnacle's non-executive director Tom Black said this places him well to join Pinnacle.

"We believe that Gavin's experience of buy-and-builds and track record of achieving transformational growth will be a powerful asset to the company," he said in a company statement. "We are certain that his strong track record of success and considerable strategic ability will align with the company's business objectives, engendering fresh growth."

Lyons added he was enthused by the ethos of Pinnacle's staff, and could see a real chance for expansion at the firm.
"This is a journey for Pinnacle to go on and achieve this potential," he said. "It's a company that has the ability to take advantage of a huge market opportunity. Just look at the sheer number of SMBs in the market and how many need a MSP to help them with their business. They need someone who can help their business grow and I think that's where we can help them by utilising IT as a transformational agent."

Following his arrival at Pinnacle, its current non-executive chairman James Dodd will stay on the board until the firm's annual general meeting in March when he will step down, Lyons said.

freddie,

PINN have had more or less 9 months under the watchful eye of mxcp so will have been making good progress but with Duckworth and Lyons now teaming up again as they did at Accumuli I think they will be a lot further don the road than many think.

This same team turned a loss making co in Accumuli into a £55 mill buyout!!

Pinn mcap is tiny but the potential is huge. Lots of room for huge upside and a potential 10 bagger

Chimers, rather unfair of you. I asked a question as I do not understand. I hold here and have done for 5 years when it was in the region of 36p. I want this to perform and look forward to what the new management team bring...so if questions cannot be asked for clarification and understanding then what is the point of posting at all.

Mr roper

a disposal of PINN would be a result imo

We'd coint about £7 mill cash and a clean slate to go bargain hunting. I'd even urge them to double up the 58 mill in issue and double the pot to £14 mill then go ona bargain hunt.

Make no mistake mate, this one will be bigger than CTP.

It's only the begining.

I'm quite sure you're no novice but rather an old hand, regardless, let me explain.

MXCP stated they have 4 POTENTIAL transactions where they have exchanged heads of terms. I'm sure your aware that a heads of agreement is not legally binding in any way and could or could not materialise and therefore does not consitute inside information.

Knowing MXCP as well as I do it's guarunteed!

ibans thanks for your comments...as a novice here before you have a go at me... if mxcp have signed 4 heads of agreements as you say...pinnacle could not be one of them as this would be information that surely would have needed to be announced to the stock exchange.

so please explain your thinking....surely that would be insider knowledge re the new pinnacle appointments and in breach of L.S.E. rules...but please correct me so that I understand..

I await
