                              DIRECTORATE CHANGE                               

Pilat Technologies International Ltd ("the Company") was notified on 14 October
2008 that with effect from 27 November 2008 David Sapiro, Chief Executive
Officer since January 2004, will resign as the Company's General Manager and
Board member.

In his notice of resignation, Mr. Sapiro explained that he has been
disappointed by the lack of support from shareholders.  This was manifested by
a substantial minority of shareholders voting against his and other Board
members' re-election at the Annual General Meeting, as well as the announcement
from Go.D.M and Alpha Fund, both shareholders in the Company, of their
intention to requisition a general meeting with the intention of removing Mr.
Sapiro and others from the Board.  The Company has yet to receive notice of the
requisitioning of such a meeting.

An announcement on the Company's plans to replace Mr. Sapiro will be made in
due course.
