i thought 39P was low, lower than CEO's purchase price, i was wrong.

i thought 16P was low, the same as 2 years ago histroy low when the oil price was $35 / b, i was wrong again.

should i buy more at 12P? i belive i will be wrong again here.

buying a few here, a little risk but given shell have the licence next door i really cant see them pulling out. once it goes through it basically values the company at cash with everything else free..

they did memtion the Shell farm out possible delay in the half year report.

every thing is very slow there. it took 3-4 years for the gas from drill to sell.

Not sure this looks that great, first half results did not really get a bullish write up and I expect a general drift down. If shell pull out then we are going to take a hit, my cash is coming out. Better to have spmething and reinvest elsewhere. Risk reward is not appetising, it's loss making and it is having to manage cash-flow v carefully which suggests thongs are tough.

Unless we have a RNS tomorrow telling us that ANH have granted the rights to Shell E & P, they reserve the right to pull out of the farm-in agreement AND request their $3m deposit be paid back.

At least I can rely on good ol' Pele to p!ss on any bonfire of a good day on the market.

Can't really work out how, nearly one week after the "deadline" for the ANH approval, we are still sitting here with no RNS. As I see it, the options are:

1. Shell are going to walk away;
2. Shell are going to renegotiate the deal;
3. The 30th September clause was not a rule, merely a guideline (a la Pirates of the Caribbean);
4. Shell are in for the long term and are so convinced that they've got a good deal that they are not worried about a bit of date slippage.

Whichever of these is true, surely it's price sensitive info and should be released to the market immediately......

Lets hope so I need these to double and double again to make a small profit! Thought a small E & P in South America would be a good idea to diversify my investments. Will continue to hold.
