                      Baltic Oil Terminals PLC ("Baltic")

                 Potential acquisition and preliminary results



Further to the announcement on 5 February 2007 of the potential acquisition of
Joint Venture Stock Company CEPRUSS, the Board of Baltic announces that the
parties are in the process of agreeing final terms of the sale and purchase
agreement, and that it is confident that the agreement will be entered into by
no later than 15 May 2007.


It intends therefore to release Baltic's preliminary results for the year ended
31 December 2006 as soon as practicable following the announcement of the
aforementioned acquisition agreement being signed.
