Pochin's PLC (the 'Company')

Grant of options to Directors under Employee Share Scheme (the 'Scheme')

The Company was notified today that Messrs D Shaw, L R Murray, R G Buck and 
J W P Nicholson had today been granted the following options over ordinary 
shares of 25p each in the Company ('Shares').

J. W. P. Nicholson             9,000                     197.375p


The options are exercisable between 12 December 2006 and 16 November 2011 and
their exercise is subject to the achievement of certain performance criteria set
out in the Scheme.

In addition, a further 63,000 options over Shares have been granted to senior
executives who are not directors of the Company.

The trustees of the Scheme (none of whom are directors of the Company) currently
hold 442,000 Shares.
