Apple are a terrible customer because they screw their suppliers so much on price.

Can't believe Tom Bulford tipped this with a Buy price of 24p

I guess one year on from his tip Bulford may have been asking questions with regard to an update ?

What does that rns tell us? A bit like an oil and gas company saying we are nearly at target depth, lol. Nice of them to telegraph things though.

rrr, indeed I am ahead of myself, must be the mild weather! Some serious digging to be done but the ground seems to be constantly waterlogged.

ducati - march, not february, but yes not too long.
You're right of course, contracts are what we really need.
I think we've 'met' on the potato thread too.

Last year's Annual Report is dated 29 March 2011. Just a marker for when we may expect this year's.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the article had something to do with the recent rise in share price. 3 of the article's authors are OXA employees after all.

LR2, BUT WHO IS SELLING THEM THE STOCK? Currently limits are bid 75k offer 10k. Would this article have anything to do with the recent rise?

Credit Agricole increase shareholding to 13.575 million shares.

They have increased their shareholding 46.67% in less than 5 months.

Chart looks very good. Pin reversal and breakout confirmed. If commercial partnership news is released soon then OXA should motor. Mcap £14 million and almost half is in cash.

Very quiet thread given the very recent rise and volume increase. Deal imminent or was the recent write up in the U.S. the reason? Or both?

Not too long ago, the OXA directors were offered stock at 5p
The then CEO stumped up all of £1,500! (or something like it)
Deal hopes were greater then than they are now.
Doesnt inspire confidence

Hmm, also see that ORA Capital holds 25% of OXA and (as at April 2010, probably somewhat lower after Jan 2011 placing) 34.5% of NANO.

Michael Bretherton is Finance Director of ORA Capital. He has been a Non Executive Director of OXA since June 2007, was Finance Director till February 2008, and served as Chairman of OXA from February 2010 to October 2011. Meanwhile, he was Chief Financial Officer of NANO till August 2010, since when he has been a Non Executive Director.

Nice to see a post! Still here, not sure whether to buy more though...

Just looked at the Nanoco BB and saw this link:

Uncertain if in this case its competition or opportunity but I am sure you are right that in general there are synergies.

Low enough for me - doubled up, so hoping to see a reversal of fortunes from here on.

Interesting to note that Dr. Peter Rowley, appointed chairman of OXA in October, is also chairman of NANO - maybe some potential synergies?

very glad I had the opportunity to get out of this one at about evens!
It's now halved

I'd be tempted to get back in at some point, but not in any hurry

Could be a way off and I suspect that even when it comes, it may not be too impressive.
OXA's strategy is for lots of deals that build up to be valuable between them
A first license for anti-reflective specs is IMO not going to be too much

It always surprised me when the past directors sold on stock at just 5p/share
but Eason invested just £1,000!
He made excuses about having a baby and buying a house, but still.
