            Exercise of option to acquire a further 13 per cent. of
         Trigger Street Independent Inc ("Trigger Street Independent")


The Board of Orientrose announces that it has exercised its option to subscribe
for new ordinary shares amounting to 13 per cent. of the issued share capital of
Trigger Street Independent, a US-based film production company, for a
consideration of US$500,000. Following exercise of the option, the Company will
have an aggregate shareholding amounting to 26 per cent. of the issued share
capital of Trigger Street Independent. As previously announced, Mark and Adam
Kassen who are specialists in producing digital films, will be responsible for
Trigger Street Independent's development.

On 10 August 2004, The Board of Orientrose announced that it had agreed to
advance the sum of US$500,000 to Trigger Street Productions Inc., which is the
co-producer of a forthcoming film called Beyond the Sea, which stars Kevin
Spacey, Kate Bosworth, John Goodman, Greta Scacci and Bob Hoskins. The film
premier in Toronto earlier this month was well received.
