                               BOARD APPOINTMENT
                               PLACING OF SHARES

The Board of Orientrose 2 is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael
Raymond Nash as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Mr Nash, 61, is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Stephen Dean, Chairman of the Company comments: "We very much look forward to
working with Michael, and are confident that his considerable experience, will
play an important part in the development of Orientrose 2".

There is no further information to be disclosed in accordance with the AIM

Orientrose 2 also announces that on 20 July 2004 the Company placed 410,000 new
Ordinary Shares of 1p each (the "Shares") for 5.5p each. Application will made
for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.
